In the Xbox category business, the business goal is to accelerate gaming reach and engagement across devices.

As an Xbox Category manager in the Nordic Xbox Category organization you will be working on growing the Xbox gaming business in the Nordic region by supporting the Nordic Sales Team as well as the EMEA HQ Category teams with planning & execution of key sales & marketing programs focused on driving purchase intent, conversion & post purchase advocacy & consumer lifetime value for Xbox games, digital content and services.

About the role

In this role you´ll drive and execute the Xbox integrated marketing strategy for Games and the digital Xbox business. Define and influence the various elements of the marketing mix and key retail programs within the area that will direct, and influence ROI based on the Xbox @ Retail business goals

Land Xbox @ retail category strategies at retail to maximize revenue and socket opportunity

Provide in depth business analysis on the Nordic Xbox @ Retail business performance for revenue, attach and margin. Work with Nordic Retail Services to land the retail channel component of a comprehensive channel marketing strategy that encompasses the People, Place, Demo and Online elements

Drive retail strategy and direction for programs, promotions and initiatives and ensure they are tailored and customized for Nordic

Drive the overall numbers and business goals for Xbox Games lineup (1st party games lineup, physical and digital) and Xbox Subscriptions including revenue, forecasting, contribution margin and marketing spend

Support the team in setting strategy and direction around account presentations and meetings. Manage Xbox partnerships with 3rd Party publishers and brands And Coordinate Event presence across Nordic together with our agency and the global content teams

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we believe you have an experience in the consumer electronics industry, gaming industry, retail category management, or like business.

Sharp analytical skills and acumen to review and manage budgets, market data, and revenue opportunities.

Strong ability to summarize complex business situations and to remove complexities

Experience in planning and executing marketing strategies and sales activities that drive business results.

An entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about building businesses, and thrives within a fast-paced environment.

Able to directly deliver and deliver thru influence of others

Experience with devices sales in consumer channels a plus.

A character that exemplifies the customers values including integrity, honesty, openness, personal excellence, constructive self-criticism, and mutual respect

This is fulltime position based in the city center of Stockholm

Length of assignment is until the 30th of june 2020 with the possibility to be prolonged with an additional six months there after.
